invites you to take weaving classes. Weaving workshops are organized in the picturesque region of Suwałki (north/eastern Poland) during 2 sessions:

The shedule of workshop:



Introduction to weaving: techniques, fabrics, and principles of weaving;
Introduction to the loom and equipment;
Preparing warp on warping board;
Tying and winding warp onto loom;
Designing the kilim and transferring the design to the kilim;
Basic tapestry techniques including diamonds, angles, rectangles;
Preparing the yarn for weaving;
Weaving with patterns;
Taking the kilim of the loom,finishing techniques and problem solving .

The number of participants of a 1-week course is limited to 4.
The length of the course may be modified upon the request. (Any modifications may be made before the course commences.)
Any modifications of the schedule can be a subject to discussion.
We provide the participants with accommodations and meals.
